Wentworth for Refugees Barnstorm

With only a matter of weeks before voters of Wentworth go the polls, now is a critical time to combine our efforts to make refugee rights a key election issue.

Right now, almost 100 refugee children and their families are stuck on Nauru with inadequate care. Meanwhile here in Australia, the Federal government has begun cutting life-saving support services for thousands of people seeking asylum, including families, single parents and older people. They are being left without a roof over their heads.

We know the voters of Wentworth care about these issues, and want to see things change.

We have a unique opportunity to show the candidates of Wentworth - and their party leaders in Canberra - that these are important issues they must take a position on.

Join us for this important community action meeting and get to work to ensure the rights of people seeking asylum are a major election issue in Wentworth.

If you live in Wentworth, we also strongly encourage you to RSVP for our upcoming Meet the Candidates forum on October 14.
